First quarter “Snapshot”

In the first quarter CROSS Ministries shipped eighteen boxes of Christian materials to eight countries (see chart). In addition to the eighteen direct shipments, a total of 280 boxes weighing approximately 9800 pounds shipped via truck, to Love Packages, Decatur Alabama for shipment to countries all over the world. Love Packages shipped twenty-five shipping containers to fourteen different countries in the first quarter. CROSS ministries also mailed seven boxes within the state of Tennessee and six boxes to Texas. In January we received a special gift from a family in Maryville Tennessee. Pastor John L. Shepherd passed away in 2013. Pastor Shepherd’s sons John and Mark donated his library of great Christian books. After Pastor Shepherd retired as a pastor he founded Calvary Road Ministries (CRM), https://calvaryroadministries.org/who-weare/about-crm/ to serve as the platform for partnering with International Mission Board (IMB) personnel evangelizing the Maasai people of Kenya and Tanzania. John was the president of CRM from its founding until his death in late 2013. We received more than thirty boxes of books. This donation of books is one of the largest donations of books we have received. Many of the books have shipped and are in the hands of people in foreign lands. We encourage all CROSS Ministries supporters to review your collection of books and make donations of any books that you no longer have need. Let us place your “no longer needed” books in the hands of someone that will cherish them. Thank you for supporting CROSS Ministries.
